IACS PERFORMANCE BOOKING PROGRAM
MSL has partnered with other art-related Hampton Roads nonprofits in coordination to hire local artists to perform at their local shows. These shows can range in different locations in Hampton Roads. Our A&R committee will review each application submitted, and if accepted, candidates will be subjected to a background check which may take 4 to 8 weeks to complete. Once the background check is successful, the candidate will be put on our roster. Bookings will be offered 30 to 60 days in advance. The only fee associated with the program is a 10% donation per booking, which can be tax-deductible.
PAYMENT STRUCTURE:
* Music artists, Literary artists - $75.00 per hour
* Visual Arts - $90.00 per hour
* 2- Music artists (group), $125.00 per hour
* 3-or more music artists (group), $175.00 per hour
MUSIC PERFORMANCE RULES:
* Performances will be no longer than 50 minutes or 75 minutes for literary arts
* Performances may include original or cover songs, (per vendor's request)
* No profanity
* No promoting violence
* No offensive language in relation to sex, gender, or sexual preference
* Dress appropriately (no saggy pants, no clothing that promotes violence, or offensive language)
* Present yourself like a professional, (You are not only representing yourself, but also MSL)
